Internal Operations Generalist

Our client, a fast-growing AI marketplace startup, is hiring an Operations Generalist to own and drive team growth alongside the co-founders and leadership team. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with a clear path to grow into senior operations leadership over time.

You'll be the primary internal user of the company's own platform "dog-fooding" the product to source elite talent through specialized recruiter networks which means you'll have direct influence on product development by partnering with engineering and product teams to shape the roadmap based on your daily experience.

You'll also be the first team member many candidates interact with, serving as a direct extension of the brand. They're looking for someone who values strong organization, embodies the culture, and can help drive ambitious recruiting goals.

What You'll Do:

Hiring

Design and run an efficient hiring process that attracts and converts top candidates.

Translate company priorities into clear hiring plans, job narratives, and candidate-facing materials in close partnership with hiring managers.

Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing via the company's platform and other targeted channels.

Lead end-to-end candidate assessment focused on motivation, role alignment, and long-term potential not checklist screening.

Deliver a high-touch candidate experience that balances efficiency with a thoughtful, personal approach.

Manage offers and closing in collaboration with founders and hiring managers.

Own recruiting operations and logistics, including interview coordination and on-site execution.

Continuously evolve hiring workflows, tools, and systems to improve signal quality, speed, and scalability.

Project Management

Lead and execute cross-functional projects across people and business initiatives.

Partner with marketing and operations to plan and run events.
Help plan and execute team socials, offsites, dinners, and similar gatherings.

Support the executive operations team in organizing and executing the annual company offsite.

What You Bring:

1 3 years of operations experience in high-intensity settings.

1+ years at a fast-growing startup (Series B or earlier) or investment firm (venture capital or private equity).

Internships that are strong and in these areas will be considered for recent grads

Variety of operations experience spanning people, business operations, and cross-functional execution.

Strong external-facing communication skills you'll be the candidate-facing voice of the brand.

Degree from a top 30 university is required
