Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Rogers, MN 55374
Shift: 1st shift 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday
Hiring Basis: 6-month contract to permanent basis.
Pay: $28-$35 Hourly/W2

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls.
Troubleshoot problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase.
Remove and replace defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
Removing and replacing defective parts from dryers, crystallizers, extruders and winders with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
Respond quickly to production floor breakdowns: diagnose electrical circuits and PLC components using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed.
Fabricating repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. Using shop equipment. (Welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.)
Keeping company tools put away and in working order.

REQUIRED SKILLS
High School diploma is preferred with 3 years of relevant work experience.
Electrical experience is required.
Manufacturing background is required.
Good organizational skills with an ability to address multiple issues at once.
Effective communication skills in both spoken and written formats.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and to other employees of the company.
Must be able to understand safety rules, SOP’s, work instructions and lock out/tagout.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, and comfortably work around elevated platforms in a non-climate-controlled facility.
Must be US Citizen, or Green Card Holder.
