We are seeking a Tier I Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to serve as a core member of our Network Security Operations Center (NSOC) team. In this role, you will contribute to overall operational readiness and provide proactive, continuous security monitoring for mission-essential communication sites and information systems.

This position requires working an active 24/7 shift schedule, and candidates must be willing and flexible to support various shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities
• 24/7 Monitoring & Incident Response: Provide proactive, on-site security monitoring and response across essential communication infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• Alert Triage & Escalation: Classify, prioritize, and escalate alerts promptly according to established operational procedures to ensure swift incident resolution.
• Event Logging & Documentation: Capture, log, and respond to security events originating from email, chat, voice, and internal monitoring systems with accurate documentation.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze technical data to distinguish valid threats from false positives while maintaining high triage accuracy standards.
• Operational Development: Collaborate with team members to refine playbooks, operational dashboards, key metrics, and detection strategies.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to provide clear incident context and recommended remediation steps.
• Incident Support: Assist during major network and security incidents, supporting active mitigation and resolution efforts as directed.

Qualifications & Key Competencies
• Experience: 1 3 years of hands-on experience working inside a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Schedule Flexibility: Full willingness to support flexible shifts within a 24/7 coverage model (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking under pressure.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail in incident documentation.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive and maintain focus in a fast-paced, high-stakes operational environment.

Additional Requirements
• Must be able to report full-time on-site in Harrisburg, PA.
• Must be willing to complete an enhanced background check prior to start.
• Schedule: 24/7 Shift Rotation (Includes nights, weekends, and holidays)
