Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing outstanding patient care, maintaining a safe clinical environment, and supporting the doctor and clinical team with efficiency and professionalism.
Employment Details
- Position: Part-Time, W-2 Employee
- Compensation: $30.00–$38.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Required Work Days: Monday and Wednesday (8:15am -5:15pm; 1-hour lunch break)
- Probationary Period: 90 days
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Current California Infection Control Certificate
- Current California Dental Radiation Safety (X-Ray) Certificate
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Take diagnostic dental radiographs
- Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols
- Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene
- Monitor inventory and notify the office when supplies need replenishment
- Maintain infection control standards
- Ensure operatories remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming patient experience
- Collaborate effectively with the clinical and administrative team
