Laundry aide

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, ensuring that all linens and garments are properly cleaned, pressed, and delivered to their respective locations. This role is essential in providing excellent service to our clients by upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Duties

Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, following proper procedures for different types of fabrics.
Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and uniforms.
Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces.
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling chemicals and equipment.
Skills

Proven experience in laundry operations or similar roles is preferred.
Knowledge of various cleaning techniques for different fabrics, including dry cleaning methods.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus.
