We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Scheduler to support multiple high-profile projects from preconstruction through project completion.

Position Summary
The Construction Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules for large-scale commercial and residential high-rise construction projects. This individual will work closely with project executives, project managers, superintendents, owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved and schedule risks are proactively managed with timely decision-making support.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed CPM (Critical Path Method) schedules throughout all phases of construction.
• Prepare baseline schedules during preconstruction, including design, procurement, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities.
• Monitor project progress through regular schedule updates and field coordination.
• Identify schedule variances, delays, and critical path impacts, and recommend recovery strategies.
• Prepare and present schedule updates to project management teams, clients, and ownership.
• Coordinate scheduling activities with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design consultants.
• Develop short-term look-ahead schedules to support field operations.
• Analyze subcontractor performance against planned activities.
• Assist with change order schedule impacts, time extension requests, and delay analysis.
• Maintain historical schedule data and support project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably on commercial or residential high-rise projects.
• Strong understanding of New York City construction practices and sequencing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working for a Construction Manager or General Contractor.
• Experience scheduling commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, or institutional high-rise projects.
• Knowledge of schedule delay analysis, recovery scheduling, and earned value concepts.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and construction management platforms such as Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), PMP, or other scheduling certification is a plus.
