Operations: Deployment Strategist- VP/Head of Start-Ups

Our client, a healthcare AI fintech startup, is looking for Deployment Strategists to join their fast-growing team. You'll work directly with hospital CFOs and finance leaders, driving margin improvement through novel AI solutions, and own specific workstreams within large-scale health system implementations alongside a Senior Deployment Strategist.

What you'll be doing:

Own delivery workstreams within large health system deployments

Lead discovery, solutioning, and ad hoc problem-solving for novel AI products where customers are still defining their own use cases

Manage working relationships with clinical leads, IT project managers, and department heads at health system clients

Move fluidly between client-facing work (stakeholder prep, presentations) and hands-on technical work (AI agent configuration, light coding)

Drive operational change and performance improvement on dedicated, large-scale accounts typically 12 18 month engagements

What we're looking for:

2 5 years of experience in healthcare consulting or health-tech delivery, fitting one of two archetypes:

Archetype 1: Experience at a healthcare consulting firm or health-tech company selling to health systems (e.g., Chartis, ECG, Kaufman Hall, Veralon, Flatiron, Abridge, Cedar, Open Evidence, Ambience Healthcare, Notable Health)

Archetype 2: Early-stage AI/tech delivery experience (0-to-1 product builds) can substitute for a healthcare background if you've shipped something novel

A demonstrated pattern of healthcare focus in your career choices

Client-facing experience with healthcare provider organizations (health systems, hospitals, medical groups not pharma/life sciences)

Technical literacy and comfort with AI/data tool

Nice to haves:

Technical contribution in past implementations (AI agent configuration, code, data work) not purely strategy/advisory

Prior coding experience (Python, SQL, or similar)

A healthcare-related degree or coursework (MPH, MHA, a healthcare-focused MBA like Wharton HCM, health policy) signaling genuine interest in the space
