Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate College
the client invites nominations and applications for a Vice Provost and Dean to lead graduate education and guide the next chapter of its Graduate College. Reporting to the university’s Provost, this senior leader will provide strategic leadership for graduate education and help advance a bold vision that supports academic excellence, student success, interdisciplinary engagement, and societal impact. as chief advocate for graduate education, the Vice Provost and Dean will champion the needs of graduate students, faculty, and postdoctoral scholars. The role will involve strengthening graduate pathways, expanding interdisciplinary opportunities, and shaping policies, programs, and support systems to position the graduate enterprise for continued growth and distinction. the leader will foster collaboration among faculty, staff, administrators, students, postdoctoral scholars, and external partners, and will support innovative approaches that enhance outcomes across the university. The client is conducting the search with a confidentiality commitment until finalists are selected, and applications and nominations will be accepted while screening proceeds until an appointment is made.
