Faculty Member, Doctor of Psychology Program
the client invites applications for two tenure-track positions in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). the program follows the practitioner-scholar model and offers a dual theoretical orientation approach, combining cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic perspectives within an APA-accredited, probationary (under appeal) doctoral structure. the successful candidate will contribute to department and university committees, develop an extramurally funded research program that engages students, and provide supervision for student practicum experiences. the role particularly seeks demonstrated expertise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and personality assessment. Applicants must hold a PhD, PsyD, or equivalent in psychology and possess a New York State license in psychology or be license-eligible in New York. candidates should demonstrate a strong record of excellence in teaching and scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications and grant writing, and show enthusiasm for advancing the program’s academic, research, and clinical training components, with a commitment to free and open discourse as a core value of learning. screening of complete applications is expected to begin immediately and continue through completion of the search process.
