Chair, Emergency Medicine
The client is seeking a Chair, Emergency Medicine to lead and oversee the Emergency Medicine Department. This role provides leadership for a department supporting both adult and pediatric emergency medicine physicians, as well as advanced practice providers, and is responsible for ensuring consistent clinical oversight and departmental direction. The Chair, Emergency Medicine will guide operations for a busy emergency department that serves high-acuity patients with a high volume of annual emergency visits. The position will also help lead emergency department initiatives across multiple affiliated facilities within the broader system footprint, supporting coordinated care and service improvement efforts. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the system leadership for emergency medicine to drive department goals and advance ED initiatives. The role typically requires strong clinical leadership, the ability to oversee provider teams, and the capacity to coordinate across an established network to improve quality and patient outcomes.
