Responsibilities
Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and other specialized trucks for freight transportation.
Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
Load and unload cargo manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo.
Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards.
Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods following strict hazardous materials regulations when applicable.
Manage vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to maintain safety standards.
Document delivery logs, shipment details, and compliance records accurately for each trip.
Load & unload freight efficiently while ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain professionalism on the road by adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving.

Qualifications
Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains. New truck driver ok.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat) if required.
Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling experience.
Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and other specialized vehicles is a plus.
Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety compliance standards.
Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking.
Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklift or manual handling techniques when necessary.
Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures and delivery driver responsibilities.
Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance at all times.
