Associate, Americas Investment Team (0081-0002)

Evaluate infrastructure investment opportunities across the Americas using advanced valuation methodologies (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, structured returns analysis, etc.) and strong financial modelling expertise across valuations, financings, business planning, and complex structuring scenarios. Develop robust three-statement financial models (Profit and Losses, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to assess returns, downside protection, capital structures, and scenario sensitivity. Help develop and implement key transaction workstreams, including financial, operational, insurance, and commercial due diligence using Bloomberg and Capital IQ. Coordinate and confer with external advisors throughout the transaction process. Contribute to transaction and management incentive structuring, including the review of SPAs and SHAs, earn-out mechanics, and model-linked provisions. Prepare comprehensive Investment Committee materials, including valuation analysis, risk assessment, fund return impact, and transaction structuring considerations. Translate commercial concepts into structured financial models. Conduct risk analysis using company’s risk framework to support investment decisions. Source and evaluate new investment opportunities across the Americas through proactive engagement with management teams, financial advisors, and industry participants. Maintain strong market awareness and research emerging market trends across infrastructure and energy sectors. Partner with senior leadership of portfolio companies to assess operational performance, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives. Attend Board meetings as an observer and support strategic decision-making. Participate in potential divestment processes when applicable.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Financial Engineering and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of investment banking and analysis experience in global financial industry
