Billable Hours - 1,900

Salary range - $225,000 to $245,000

Compensation increases for attorneys are merit-based according to a combination of key factors, including:

Quality of work
Billable hours
Pro bono activities
Recruitment activities
Firm committee participation
Business development efforts

Bonus is formulaic and is made transparent to the Associate. Its hours based

Fee origination bonus. Generate and collect $10k in originations does not matter where it comes from you receive 10% of that $10k in originations.

There are 11 attorneys that make up the Labor & Employment group in Los Angeles.

And they're looking to add another associate!

What they're looking for:

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience in defending against single plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and reasonable accommodation.

Experience with PAGA matters.

Experience with class actions.

Ability to handle day to day case responsibilities with moderate independence and in collaboration with senior attorneys.

Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.

Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.

Experience drafting and arguing motions including dispositive and discovery motions.

Experience conducting and defending depositions, including plaintiff depositions and corporate witness depositions.

Experience providing employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and regulations is preferred but not required.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) is required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California.
