Billable Hours - 1,900

Salary range - $225,000 to $245,000

Compensation increases for attorneys are merit-based according to a combination of key factors, including:

Quality of work

Billable hours

Pro bono activities

Recruitment activities

Firm committee participation

Business development efforts

Bonus is formulaic and is made transparent to the Associate. Its hours based

Fee origination bonus. Generate and collect $10k in originations does not matter where it comes from you receive 10% of that $10k in originations.

What they're looking for:

The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. provisional, utility, and international patent applications, preparing patentability opinions, and strategically planning and maintaining patent portfolios in these areas required.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) and USPTO registration required. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required; graduate degree a plus. Must be licensed to practice in MA.
