Home Improvement Designer
1. Develop and design interior space plans for residential improvement projects utilizing the company’s building materials, fixtures, and finishes.
2. Consult with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical design solutions, and determine project requirements, design preferences, budget constraints, and timelines.
3. Prepare and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) software, 3D modeling tools, and rendering programs to illustrate layouts, specifications, and visual concepts.
4. Recommend and evaluate design materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes based on durability, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and compliance with project specifications.
5. Coordinate the design project timeline and progress, and ensure adherence to approved plans and quality standards.
6. Stay up-to-date about current design trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in the interior design field.
