Java Developer

Responsibilities:
Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting for enterprise applications.
Write secure, high-quality code using Java with minimal guidance.
Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot applications while considering upstream and downstream system dependencies.
Utilize SDLC tools to improve automation and software delivery.
Troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Analyze large and diverse datasets to support secure and stable application development.
Follow software engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture.

Required Skills:
Formal training or certification in Software Engineering with 12+ years of hands-on experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful Services.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
Strong experience in Java/J2EE and Microservices development.
Strong experience with Oracle (RDBMS).
Experience writing clean, maintainable code, performing code reviews, and code refactoring.
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kafka (or other streaming technologies).
Experience with Git for source control.
Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven, and Gradle.
Excellent knowledge of developing resilient, scalable, and high-quality applications.
Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-driven attitude and the ability to multitask.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
Exposure to public cloud platforms.
Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace
