Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking skilled and experienced Steel Welders for opportunities in the Smithville, Tennessee area. We are looking for dependable candidates with strong fabrication and welding skills who take pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on structural and fabricated steel components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
Measure and lay out materials accurately using tape measures and precision measuring tools
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications
Previous steel welding experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Strong mathematical and measurement skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Required Assessments
Candidates must successfully pass:

Hands-on Weld Test
Written Blueprint Reading Test
Written Tape Measure Reading Test

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Pay based on welding skills and experience level
