Superintendent Civil Construction (Concrete)

Compensation: $175,000 $250,000 per year + Annual Bonus

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent Civil Construction (Concrete) to oversee and manage large-scale concrete construction projects in New York, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site concrete construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site concrete construction activities.
•Oversee all phases of concrete construction, including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and finishing.
•Develop daily and weekly work plans and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials.
•Supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and compliance with project schedules.
•Ensure proper installation of formwork, reinforcement, embedded items, and concrete placement.
•Monitor project progress and resolve field issues as they arise.
•Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
•Manage quality control, inspections, and project documentation.
•Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

•Minimum 7 years of experience in concrete construction.
•At least 3 years of experience in a superintendent or supervisory role.
•Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems, reinforcement, concrete placement, and finishing techniques.
•Experience managing large-scale commercial or civil concrete construction projects is strongly preferred.
•OSHA Certification required.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•Ability to manage multiple crews and maintain project schedules.
