Physician, Family Medicine Core Faculty

Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine Core Faculty physician to join their team in Modesto, CA. This role offers a unique blend of outpatient Family Medicine practice and significant involvement in resident teaching, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position is integral to a recently accredited Family Medicine residency program within a stable and growing multi-specialty group.

Practice Info

• Mix of outpatient Family Medicine and resident teaching
• Teaching is a mix of inpatient and outpatient in a variety of settings, including nursery, wards, and residency clinic (depending on interest)
• EHR: Epic
• Gould Medical Group is a growing, 525+ clinician multi-specialty group

Responsibilities

• Serve as core faculty for recently accredited FM residency program
• Devote sufficient time to the Residency Program to fulfill supervisory and teaching responsibilities
• Pursues faculty development at least annually to enhance skills in education, quality improvement and patient safety, physician well-being, and patient care
• Maintain a working knowledge of the most up-to-date program specific requirements
• Include ongoing clinical activity

Compensation

• Starting base salary: $300,000
• Two-year salary guarantee
• Compensation will be a mix of salary and wRVU production after salary guarantee
• Sign-on and loan options
• Individual Performance Bonus
• Salary range: $300,000 - $310,000 /Yr

Requirements

• Must have and maintain current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine
• Demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents
• Include current licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment
• Be licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
• Demonstration of ongoing academic achievements in the specialty, including publications, the development of educational programs, or the conduct of research PREFERRED
• Faculty experience, leadership, organizational, and administrative qualifications preferred
• Addiction Medicine or Sports Medicine fellowship a plus
