General Urology

Northwell Health is expanding its urological health services and seeking General Urologists to join their team across various locations, including Mather, Peconic Bay, Plainview, Staten Island, Valley Stream, and Queens. This role offers the opportunity to work within Northwell Health's Arthur Smith Institute for Urology, which has experienced significant growth and provides comprehensive, integrated healthcare. The position emphasizes collaborative work with experienced partners and access to the resources of the largest health system in the New York Metropolitan area.

• The Department of Urology at Northwell Health's Arthur Smith Institute for Urology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City, and Westchester.
• Physicians have vast experience in minimally invasive procedures to treat all urologic diseases including those affecting the bladder, kidneys, male genitalia, and prostate.

• The department has residencies and an extensive network of physician extenders.
• Urologic physicians are also faculty of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Requirements

• MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine
• Completion of Residency with Board Certification or eligibility
• Current / Eligible for NYS License
• Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital management
• Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques
• Chinese speaking preferred for Queens location
