Primary Care Physician

IMA Medical Group is seeking a Physician for their Poinciana office to provide routine clinical care. This role involves conducting examinations, assessing symptoms, prescribing medications, and providing treatment to patients. Responsibilities

• Interview, examine, and diagnose patients during clinic visits
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests, interpret results, and communicate treatment options
• Review and maintain patients' records and medical histories in a timely fashion
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as wound care, suturing, joint aspirations and injections, and administering immunizations
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
• Accurately record correct healthcare diagnoses to ensure correct billing
• Actively participate in monthly provider team meetings and performance reviews with Medical Director

Requirements

• Required: Current Florida License (Full or ACN) or ability to obtain one
• Required: BLS certification
• Required: EMR experience
• Required: Primary Care Physician practice experience
• Required: Experience managing Medicare Advantage patients or Value-Based Care
• Preferred: Athena experience
• Preferred: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
• Preferred: Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
