Gastroenterology Physician

CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, NM, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterology Physician to join CHRISTUS South New Mexico GI Associates. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established practice that serves as the region's primary provider of digestive health services. The role offers a 100% outpatient practice setting with comprehensive support and advanced equipment.

Practice Info

• Established practice serving as the region’s primary provider of digestive health services
• Clinic offers private exam rooms, dedicated procedure space, advanced endoscopy equipment, and an in-house lab
• Full access to hospital resources including surgical suites and imaging
• Practice scope includes in-office procedures such as hemorrhoid banding, FibroScan, and PillCam
• Advanced cases supported through four operating rooms with block scheduling available
• Outpatient surgeries are performed at Scenic View Surgery Center, located within the hospital

Compensation

• Base plus model! - $800k+ earning potential
• Sign on Bonus up to $100,000

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time Position
• 100% outpatient practice
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 1/2 day of admin hours
• Patient Volume: 15-20 patients per day and 40-60 provider referrals
• Call: Shared, 2 locums providers currently practicing

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible by ABIM or AOOBIM
• GI fellowship trained
• Must also possess an unrestricted New Mexico Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New Mexico
• J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available
