Interventional Radiologist
Alaska Radiology Associates is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join their well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, Alaska. Practice Info
- Largest private practice radiology group in Alaska.
- Provides full-spectrum imaging and interventional services for the largest hospital in the State of Alaska.
- Services also extend to outpatient imaging centers in Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Mat-Su Valley.
- Offers sub-specialized teleradiology services throughout Alaska and onsite services in Kodiak Island.
Responsibilities
- Provide Interventional Radiology services including Vascular, Biliary, Renal, Body, and Interventional Oncology.
- Perform general radiology procedures including CT and US Guided Soft Tissue Biopsy and Drains, Lumbar Puncture, Arthrogram injections, Paracentesis, and Thoracentesis.
- Provide Diagnostic Radiology services as assigned by the Practice.
Compensation
- Salary: $750,000-$800,000 + $100,000 benefits package.
- Sign on bonus: $50,000 or fellowship stipend.
- Full-time option to work onsite 26 weeks/year: Salary: $500,000 + $100,000 benefits package ($600,000 total compensation).

Shift & Schedule
- Q3-4 Week IR with IR Call (13-17 weeks per year).
- Remaining work weeks a diagnostic service M-F 8a-5p, 11a-7p, or 3p-10p.
- No Diagnostic Radiology weekend shifts.
- Mix of weeks of Daytime Cath Lab IR with Overnight IR Call and General Diagnostic Radiology with hospital-based Body Procedures (biopsies / drains).
- No Diagnostic Radiology weekend shifts or Diagnostic Radiology Call.
Requirements
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology.
- Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- CAQ Preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; focus on Radiology as a service to patients and referring providers alike.
