Alaska Radiology Associates is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join their well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, Alaska. This full-time, partnership-track opportunity offers generous compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Practice Info

  • Largest private practice radiology group in Alaska.
  • Provides full-spectrum imaging and interventional services for the largest hospital in the State of Alaska.
  • Services also extend to outpatient imaging centers in Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Mat-Su Valley.
  • Offers sub-specialized teleradiology services throughout Alaska and onsite services in Kodiak Island.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Interventional Radiology services including Vascular, Biliary, Renal, Body, and Interventional Oncology.
  • Perform general radiology procedures including CT and US Guided Soft Tissue Biopsy and Drains, Lumbar Puncture, Arthrogram injections, Paracentesis, and Thoracentesis.
  • Provide Diagnostic Radiology services as assigned by the Practice.

Compensation

  • Salary: $750,000-$800,000 + $100,000 benefits package.
  • Sign on bonus: $50,000 or fellowship stipend.
  • Full-time option to work onsite 26 weeks/year: Salary: $500,000 + $100,000 benefits package ($600,000 total compensation).
  • Annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

  • Q3-4 Week IR with IR Call (13-17 weeks per year).
  • Remaining work weeks a diagnostic service M-F 8a-5p, 11a-7p, or 3p-10p.
  • No Diagnostic Radiology weekend shifts.
  • Mix of weeks of Daytime Cath Lab IR with Overnight IR Call and General Diagnostic Radiology with hospital-based Body Procedures (biopsies / drains).
  • No Diagnostic Radiology weekend shifts or Diagnostic Radiology Call.

Requirements

  • Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology.
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
  • CAQ Preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; focus on Radiology as a service to patients and referring providers alike.
