Primary Care Physician

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is seeking a board-certified/eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a thriving primary care practice in Fishkill, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, including physicians and Nurse Practitioners, in a fully outpatient setting. The position emphasizes clinician wellness, a balanced lifestyle, and provides teaching opportunities with medical students or residents.

• Work with 3 other physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners
• Practice sees all ages
• Employed outpatient practices utilize hospitalist programs for in-patient admissions
• Fully outpatient setting with a state-of-the-art, system-wide integrated electronic health record
• Daily Management Systems that empower front-line teams to solve problems at the practice level
• A unified, network-wide EMR that streamlines communication with hospitals and consultants

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, team-based care for a diverse adult patient population
• Partner with skilled multidisciplinary staff to manage acute and chronic conditions
• Promote wellness across an entire panel of patients

Compensation

• Salary Range: $275,000 - $285,000, commensurate or relative to experience

Shift & Schedule

• Minimal on-call obligations
• Off-hour coverage - Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only, with nurse triage

Requirements

• MD or DO with NY State License and Federal DEA
• Successfully completed Family Medicine Residency
• BE/BC in Family Medicine
