Diagnostic Radiologist

Empire State Radiology is seeking a part-time or independent contractor Diagnostic Radiologist to provide remote weekend coverage. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing the radiologist to design their ideal remote work schedule with day or evening shifts to ensure a healthy work-life balance. The position focuses on reading all aspects of diagnostic radiology across multiple subspecialties.

Practice Info

• Remote weekend coverage operating in Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Part-time (0-29hrs/week) or Independent Contractor employment
• Utilizes cutting-edge imaging technology and AI-driven tools
• Collaborative environment with physician liaisons to reduce administrative tasks
• Part of Radiology Partners, a national network serving hospitals and healthcare facilities across the U.S.
• Serves leading hospitals throughout New York and New Jersey, including Nassau & Suffolk Counties, Brooklyn, Queens & Bronx Boroughs, Westchester, Rockland & Sullivan Counties, and Union County, NJ

Responsibilities

• Provide remote weekend coverage
• Proficiently read all aspects of diagnostic radiology, including X-rays, CTs, MRIs, and ultrasounds, across multiple subspecialties

Compensation

• Productivity-based compensation with per-wRVU and per-shift incentive models
• The salary range for this position is $100,000-$1,000,000

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Radiology
• Valid Medical License in New York (or ability to obtain)
