Neuro-hospitalist

Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital in Queens, NY, is seeking a Neuro-hospitalist to join its multidisciplinary Department of Neurology. This role offers a flexible one week on/one week off schedule with no ambulatory clinical responsibilities. The successful candidate will be part of Northwell Health, New York State's largest healthcare provider, and will have the opportunity to connect with a large group of neurologists and participate in academic activities.

• Provides inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, and women's health services.
• Designated as a Level II Perinatal Center.
• Emergency Department is a 911 receiving site, a certified heart station, and a New York state-designated Stroke Center.
• Offers a medical residency education program and a podiatry residency education program.

Requirements

• MD Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited)
• Completion of Neurology residency
• Must be Board Certified
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
