General Pediatrician
Cohen Children's Medical Center of Northwell Health and the Zucker School of Medicine are seeking a Full, Associate, or Assistant Professor for the Division of General Pediatrics. This role is ideal for clinician-educators or clinician-investigators with strong academic credentials and an interest in areas such as Advocacy and Community Health, Medical Complexity, Transition to Adulthood, or Obesity and Weight Management. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative division focused on interdisciplinary research to improve child health and well-being.

- The Division of General Pediatrics sees nearly 40,000 patients annually.
- The Northwell Pediatrics Ambulatory Care Network sees over 200,000 patients annually.
- The Division is the ambulatory training site for nearly 100 pediatric residents, over 120 medical students, and several allied health professionals.
- The Division has a strong research and quality improvement portfolio, with over $2 million in annual federal, state, and foundation grant funding.
- The Division is expanding to two satellite locations within Queens and Nassau County.
- Cohen Children's Medical Center is a 202-bed, tertiary facility, completely dedicated to the care of infants, children, and adolescents, and is the only exclusively dedicated pediatric hospital in Queens and Long Island.

Requirements
- MD and/or PhD or equivalent degree
- Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research
- Strong academic credentials
- Record or promise of external research funding
- Interest in Advocacy and Community Health, with leadership opportunities in the pediatric residency program (preferred)
- Interest in Children and Adolescents with Medical Complexity (preferred)
- Interest in Transition to Adulthood and Adult Care Services (preferred)
- Interest in Obesity and Weight Management Services (preferred)
- Greater experience following graduate training (priority given)
- Established track record of high impact publication and extramural funding (priority given)
