We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with deep expertise in Turbine/Compressor Disk Manufacturing within the Gas Turbine, Aero Engine, or Aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in precision machining processes, manufacturing process development, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a proactive engineering professional who can optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, reduce costs, and support new product industrialization.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Process Engineering
Lead and support manufacturing operations for Turbine and Compressor Disk components.
Provide technical expertise in critical machining processes, including:
Broaching
Curvic Grinding
Tip Grinding
Dynamic Balancing
Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for high-precision rotating components.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and industrialization activities.
Ensure compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards, quality requirements, and process controls.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Analyze machining cycle times and identify opportunities to improve productivity and throughput.
Optimize machining parameters, tooling strategies, workholding, and machine setups to enhance efficiency.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve operational performance and reduce waste.
Standardize manufacturing best practices across machining processes and production lines.
Quality & Cost Improvement
Analyze rejection trends, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead initiatives to reduce scrap, improve yield, and enhance first-pass quality.
Improve process capability (Cp/Cpk) and maintain stable, repeatable manufacturing processes.
Collaborate closely with Quality, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design teams to resolve process issues and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Support
Troubleshoot machining and manufacturing challenges to ensure consistent product quality.
Support tooling development, process qualification, and manufacturing readiness for new and existing products.
Provide technical guidance on precision machining, balancing techniques, and rotating component manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in Turbine/Compressor Disk manufacturing within the Gas Turbine, Aero Engine, or Aerospace industry.
Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, precision machining, and manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with CNC machining, grinding, precision finishing, and balancing operations.
Proficiency in process optimization methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Root Cause Analysis.
Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, tolerance stack-up analysis, and precision measurement techniques.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Design Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Gas Turbine, Aero Engine, or Rotating Equipment manufacturing.
Exposure to tight-tolerance machining of high-precision turbine engine components.
Hands-on experience with process validation, qualification, and industrialization.
Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and manufacturing compliance requirements.
Certification or practical experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies is an added advantage
