Xactimate Estimator

Job Title: Xactimate Estimator
Location: Winston-Salem, NC (open to remote candidates)
Hours: 8:30AM-5:30PM, M-F

N-Tier Disaster Recovery Solutions (NTDRS) is seeking a Xactimate Estimator, preferably located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Estimator analyzes project needs and prepares comprehensive cost estimates for construction and restoration projects. This role ensures all projects are accurately priced to allow for a smooth claims process and project completion within budget and established timelines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyze project documents to understand the overall scope and objectives
• Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify required materials, labor, and timelines for projects
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain cost information for materials and services
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, breaking down materials, labor, equipment, and timelines to ensure profitability and adherence to the project scope, including all necessary insurance considerations
• Present clear, professional estimate reports and proposals for involved parties
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates
• Keep up to date with industry best practices to improve the accuracy and efficiency of estimates.
• Maintain client confidentiality

Requirements:
• Experience estimating interior and exterior construction and mitigation projects related to insurance claims
• Experience working with the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) programs such as AccuServe, Alacrity, Contractor Connection, and Sedgwick
• Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software and Microsoft 365
• Able to read technical drawings
• Familiarity with construction practices, costs, and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Education in a relevant field is a plus
• Able to work 8:30AM-5:30PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday

NTDRS is a full-service mitigation, restoration, reconstruction, and new construction company. We are an authorized and approved vendor with all the major insurance companies who send us their insurance property claims as well as the top three third-party vendors.
