Family Medicine Physician

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join their team in Houston. • Multi-specialty clinic with 1000+ medical providers in 65 medical specialties

• One of 45 locations throughout Houston

Responsibilities

• Specialize in caring for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of patients and their families
• Care for all ages, from children age 5 to senior adults
• Diagnose and treat the full range of problems patients bring to their doctors
• See patients in an outpatient setting
• Conduct new patient appointments and corporate physicals
• Participate in the Family Medicine Call single call group, approximately once per month
• Answer phone calls from patients of physicians in the call group
• Perform annual physicals and wellness exams
• Provide preventive medicine

Compensation

• Compensation generally ranges from $237,500 - $384,000
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus
• Compensation is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Shift & Schedule

• Monday-Friday from 8a - 5p
• On-Call for the group is about once per month, either on the weekday or weekend day
• Weekend day call is shared with another physician

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD, DO)
• Accredited Family Medicine Residency training
• Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with American Board of Family Medicine
