Family Medicine Physician

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join their team in Houston. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages within a multi-specialty clinic setting. The physician will contribute to a nationally recognized organization focused on delivering coordinated and accountable care, aiming for higher quality, increased patient satisfaction, and reduced costs.

• Family Medicine Call single call group
• Located in Houston, with over 40 locations throughout the city

Responsibilities

• Care for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of patients and their families
• Treat patients of all ages, from children age 5 to senior adults
• Diagnose and treat the full range of problems patients bring to their doctors
• See new patients and conduct corporate physicals
• Participate in the Family Medicine Call single call group, approximately once per month
• Conduct annual physicals and wellness exams
• Provide preventive medicine

Compensation

• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $237,500 - $384,000
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus
• Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Shift & Schedule

• Monday-Friday from 8a - 5p
• On-Call for the group is about once per month, either on the weekday or weekend day
• The weekend day is shared with another physician

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD, DO)
• Accredited Family Medicine Residency training
• Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with American Board of Family Medicine
