Optum NV is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This role offers the opportunity to work in a clinician-led organization that provides extensive clinical resources, data, and support. Physicians will manage their own panel of patients within a collaborative environment, contributing to improved patient care and community health.
Practice Info
- Work with other physicians in teams, managing your own panel of patients.
- Patient population includes adults of all ages, geriatrics, and some older adolescents, with customization for interest areas.
- Work in attractive/modern buildings with an electronic medical record environment.
- Full-time management staff, digital radiology, and onsite laboratory services are available at 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area.
- Employed practice position with Southwest Medical.
- Systems-based practice with awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care.
Compensation
- $100,000 sign on bonus for external candidates.

- The salary range for this role is $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment.

Shift & Schedule
- Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible.
- Ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license.
- Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care.
- Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals.
- Possession of or acquisition of sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in their practice.
- Practice-based learning and improvement that involves investigation and evaluation of their own patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence and improvements in patient care.
