Orthopedic Surgeon

Oregon Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join their team in Eugene, OR. This role offers a fully established, turnkey orthopedic practice with an immediate referral base and flexible practice design. The position provides clinical resources, data, and support from a global organization, empowering the surgeon to advance community health and contribute new practice ideas.

Practice Info

• Turnkey Orthopedic Practice with immediate referral base
• Flexible practice design to fit surgeon's preference
• Team includes 3 experienced orthopedic PAs, 1 Sport Medicine (FM) Physician, and 3 podiatrists (1 non-surgical and 2 surgical)
• Dedicated support staff including MAs, Athletic Trainer, Cast Techs, and Office Manager
• Onsite Imaging: Immediate X-Ray along with ultrasound, CT and MRI
• Collaborative and close-knit department culture

Compensation

• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $430,000 - $887,500
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Shift & Schedule

• Clinic Hours- 8:00AM to 5:00PM
• OR Hours- 7:30AM to 4:30PM

Requirements

• Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
• Residency completed in Orthopedic Surgery
• Unrestricted OR Physician License or ability to obtain
• Current OR DEA certificate required prior to start date
• Current BLS
• BE/BC Orthopedic Surgery
• EMR Proficient
• Excellent time management skills
