Primary Care Physician (IM or FM)

WellMed, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join their team in Stuart, FL. Compensation

• Guaranteed, competitive compensation model based on quality, not quantity, with significant earning potential and bonus eligibility
• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $238,500 - $392,000
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time 40-hour per week schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
• Residency trained and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Florida or has Florida application in process
• Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• Preferred: A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
• Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
