Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine to join their team at the Houston Methodist Hospital West / Cinco Ranch Comprehensive Care Center. This role offers the opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility that opened in February 2026, focusing on a streamlined patient experience. The successful candidate will contribute to a leading academic medical center, providing unparalleled orthopedic care and potentially receiving a faculty appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College.

• Located at the Houston Methodist Hospital West / Cinco Ranch Comprehensive Care Center.
• The facility is a 65,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art center adjacent to the Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Cinco Ranch.
• Incorporates smart technologies for a streamlined and connected patient experience, including online pre-visit registration, self-check-in kiosks, and real-time wait-time notifications.
• Consolidates a broad range of services under one roof, including primary care, same-day clinic appointments, specialty care (orthopedics, neurology, gastroenterology, urology, rheumatology), advanced imaging, lab services, and physical therapy.
• The Department of Orthopedic Surgery provides care to a range of patients from professional athletes and performing artists to those with traumatic injuries and joint disorders.
• Works with a skilled team of orthopedic surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, and physical and occupational therapists.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon.
• Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine.
