Colorectal Surgeon

Carilion Clinic is seeking a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to join their established team of two experienced colorectal surgeons in Roanoke, VA. This academic program offers significant opportunities in teaching, research, and clinical care within a dynamic, multi-specialty group practice. The role is based at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a Level-1 trauma and academic health center, providing comprehensive surgical coverage to a large, rural, multi-state area.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical coverage to over one million people in a large, rural, multi-state area.
• Perform the full breadth of procedures of all levels of complexity.
• Actively involved in the education of medical students, residents from multiple CC-VTC and outside training programs, allied health science students, and Virginia Tech undergraduate and graduate students.

Compensation

• Min Starting Salary: $442,833
• Max Starting Salary: $670,278
• Base salary plus two-tiered bonus plan based on score card initiatives and production.
• Relocation Allowance
• You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary.
