Neuroradiologist

Northwell Health is seeking board-certified/eligible Neuroradiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology across multiple facilities in New York. This role offers opportunities for both in-person and hybrid work, focusing on comprehensive screening, diagnostic, and interventional neuroradiology services. Physicians will contribute to a patient-centered environment within New York State's largest healthcare system, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and procedures.

• Diverse network of facilities, including Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital
• Opportunities for IN-PERSON and HYBRID work
• Support resident education at Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, and LIJ Medical Center
• Sub-specialties include Head and Neck Imaging, Pediatric Neuroimaging, and Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging
• Radiology department performs over 2 million medical scans each year

Responsibilities

• Perform routine neuroimaging exams
• Perform advanced imaging exams and procedures, including Advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck
• Perform Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI)
• Perform Perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP)
• Perform MR spectroscopy
• Perform LP’s, myelograms and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Perform Post-processing and 3D reconstruction

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of Neuroradiology Fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
