Production Supervsior

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assembly Supervisor to join our team on-site in the Cookeville, TN area. This role is responsible for leading production teams, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across assigned shifts.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and coordinate a production team to meet established production and quality goals
Organize workflows and assign tasks based on team members’ skills and technical capabilities
Monitor daily operations, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions
Support and coach team members, including training new operators or team leaders
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) standards and act as a safety leader
Oversee performance of personnel, equipment, and workstations while maintaining skill matrices
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to management
Participate in daily production and pre-shift meetings
Conduct root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys) and lead corrective action initiatives
Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement efforts
Maintain accurate production, quality, and attendance documentation
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Basic computer and math proficiency
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
University degree or vocational/technical training
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
