Onsite Contract General

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our plant’s maintenance operations on-site. In this role, you will oversee the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all production equipment and infrastructure. You will play a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, fostering a strong safety culture, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.

What You’ll Do:

Leadership & Strategy

Lead, develop, and motivate the maintenance team to ensure peak performance and engagement
Establish maintenance strategies, schedules, and priorities aligned with plant needs
Participate in Plant Committee meetings and cross-functional initiatives

Maintenance & Operations

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
Monitor and report key KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, and impact on OEE)
Ensure effective spare parts management, balancing availability with cost control
Coordinate subcontracted maintenance work and vendor performance

Safety & Compliance (OHSE)

Champion a strong safety and environmental culture by leading by example
Ensure OSHA and OHSE procedures are implemented and maintained
Conduct audits, inspections, LOTOTO checks, and monthly safety walkarounds
Lead incident investigations (5 WHY analysis) and corrective/preventive actions
Ensure contractor compliance with all safety standards and permit requirements

Continuous Improvement

Implement and update technical documentation and preventive inspection programs
Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization
Drive continuous improvement in maintenance efficiency and plant performance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Solid technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance leadership role
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
OSHA knowledge or training is a plus
