Devcare is currently recruiting for an excellent Locum Medical Director opportunity with the State of Texas Health and Human Services Rio Grande State Supported Living Center located in Harlingen, Texas.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary medical team while providing high-quality care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Position Details
Title: Medical Director
Location: Harlingen, TX
Duration: 3+ Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
• Provide clinical leadership for the medical department
• Supervise Physicians, APRNs, PAs, Psychiatrists, Dentists, Pharmacists
• Manage complex medical and behavioral health cases
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
• Ensure compliance with Texas HHS and DOJ standards
• Provide primary medical care for assigned individuals
• Participate in leadership meetings and on-call rotation
Required Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Active Texas Medical License
• DEA Registration
• Active NPI
• Eligible Medicare/Medicaid Provider
• Leadership experience preferred
