Optimize business performance by aligning business processes with IT strategy, building and sustaining a process-managed organization; Bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with firm objectives and technical infrastructure; Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Actuarial, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of process improvements; Design, code, and maintain automation jobs to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational efficiency; Drive process improvement initiatives across Finance and related functions, extending to vendors and downstream users; Establish and enforce process-related policies, standards, governance, and methodologies to enable sustainable adoption of process culture; Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for performance improvement; Develop and monitor business performance metrics to drive continuous improvement, increased productivity, and cost reduction; Check system outputs to extract meaningful metrics that reflect operational efficiency and improvement opportunities; Evaluate existing workflows for efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals; Lead sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements using data-driven methodologies; Support process improvement projects end-to-end, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and outcomes, and mentor junior team members to ensure timely delivery; Train and mentor new employees to accelerate onboarding and skill development; Deliver constructive feedback to junior team members to support professional growth and improve team performance. 6 years of work experience as Financial Process Engineer, Developer, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: In-depth experience with accounting, investment, and actuarial processes and systems; Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices; Skilled in benchmarking, business process analysis, and reengineering to optimize efficiency and reduce cost; Expertise in change management, measurement, and process-driven system requirements; Proficient in SQL Server programming, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling; Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite (SSRS and SSIS) for reporting and integration services; Advanced database management: creating indexes, indexed views, enforcing business rules, functions, and triggers for optimized performance and data integrity; Proficiency in ETL development using Python data packages (Pandas and NumPy) for automation and data transformation; Strong background in implementing and maintaining enterprise database systems; Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS services including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3. Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a master’s degree plus 6 years of experience. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
