Teen Respite Provider- Black River Falls

We are seeking a kind, patient, and dependable TEEN Respite Provider to spend quality time with a girl with autism and other special needs. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to build a positive, trusting relationship while supporting her growth in independence and self-confidence. Respite care will take place in the provider’s home and within the community. This teen enjoys: arts & crafts, creative writing, video games, and fantasy (dragons) Location: Black River Falls, WI Wage: $14.13 per hour Schedule: Up to 12 hours per month Weekday late afternoons and potential weekend hours Responsibilities: · Provide compassionate and consistent care during respite hours · Engage in fun, age-appropriate activities and outings · Serve as a positive role model and mentor · Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment · Use redirection techniques, if necessary, with patience and calm demeanor · Toileting assistance: wiping, pull up changes, toilet training Requirements: · Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance · Experience working with special needs children, autism, and mental health conditions · Age 18 or older at the start of employment · Willing to undergo a background check prior to hire To apply: please send your resume to *If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record.
