About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and agile Trade Compliance Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance and practical solutions to our clients, ensuring their international trade operations adhere to global regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert who can deliver high-impact results efficiently within a flexible working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
-Provide expert advice on import/export regulations, customs classification, valuation, and origin determination.
-Conduct risk assessments and develop compliance frameworks tailored to client-specific needs.
-Monitor changes in global trade laws and sanctions lists, advising clients on necessary adjustments.
-Deliver clear, actionable compliance strategies that minimize risk while optimizing supply chain efficiency.
-Manage deliverables independently, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks within agreed-upon timelines.

Qualifications
-Profound Industry Experience:Demonstrated deep expertise in international trade compliance, with a strong track record of advising clients across various industries. Familiarity with major regulatory bodies (e.g., CBP, BIS, OFAC) is essential.
-Efficiency & Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a part-time or contract environment. You must be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of delivering high-quality work efficiently without constant supervision.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
