Job Title: Burial Vault Installer

Job Summary:
The Burial Vault Installer is responsible for transporting burial vaults to cemeteries, preparing gravesites, installing burial vaults, and ensuring all equipment is safely operated and maintained. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, physical stamina, and a respectful, professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver burial vaults and related products to cemeteries.
Set and install burial vaults accurately using specialized equipment.
Prepare gravesites for funeral services.
Operate trucks, trailers, cranes, and lifting equipment safely.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment.
Work closely with cemetery staff and funeral directors to ensure timely service.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
Maintain accurate delivery and service records.
Assist with warehouse duties, inventory, and product preparation as needed.
Present a professional appearance and respectful attitude during funeral services.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 75 100 pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Experience operating trailers, forklifts, or small cranes is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Safely operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles.

Work Environment:

Outdoor cemetery settings.
Warehouse and delivery operations.
Occasional weekend or holiday work depending on funeral schedules.
