President and CEO
The client is seeking a proactive, visible, and engaged leader to serve as President and CEO. The role leads an organization that promotes the broader area as a year-round leisure and meeting destination, supported by funding derived from a portion of hotel room taxes. The President and CEO is responsible for managing organizational marketing efforts for the Greater Fort Lauderdale and Broward County markets. This includes formulating long-range goals, implementing organizational policy, and serving as an advisor to the County’s Chief Executive as part of the Executive Team. The client expects the leader to maintain a strong public presence, guide strategic direction, and collaborate effectively with senior county leadership. Candidates should be prepared to lead the organization’s marketing strategy and help advance its long-term priorities through sound policy execution and executive-level advisory support.
