VP of Finance
The client is seeking a VP of Finance to partner closely with leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams across vineyard operations, hospitality, and sales. This role will help guide business decisions through strong financial expertise, a collaborative leadership approach, and a curiosity for how the company operates in practice. Key responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; providing financial insights to support strategic initiatives and investments; partnering with operational teams to translate financial data into actionable insights; evaluating return on investment and performance across business initiatives; and communicating financial performance to executive leadership and investors. The VP of Finance will also oversee financial systems and reporting processes to support timely, accurate decision-making. The ideal candidate will have senior finance leadership experience in roles such as VP Finance, Director of Finance, or similar. Qualifications include a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy, along with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial teams. An MBA or equivalent advanced business/finance degree is preferred, and experience with ERP systems is expected (with NetSuite preferred but not required).
