Director of Ecommerce and Events

The client is seeking a Director of Ecommerce and Events to lead the development of innovative ecommerce solutions and event services across the group’s brands. This role is focused on driving growth by enhancing consumer engagement through multiple platforms and channels, using an integrated approach that connects digital experiences with high-end event offerings. Key responsibilities include creating and executing a strategic vision for ecommerce and event-driven engagement, building and scaling capabilities across channels to ensure seamless consumer experiences, and leading a team to unlock new growth opportunities while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The director will collaborate cross-functionally to advance cross-channel initiatives, manage financial planning through budgeting and forecasting to maximize marketing ROI, and launch and evaluate marketing experiments and partnerships designed to strengthen customer engagement and experience. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a master’s degree preferred, along with 10+ years of leadership experience in retail, sales, and/or ecommerce within a luxury environment. They should demonstrate strong team development and coaching experience, deep knowledge of omnichannel business models and customer journeys, and experience managing budgets and achieving marketing targets such as CPA, LTV, and ROI. Additional strengths include the ability to build and run direct response campaigns aligned with brand standards, a strategic and analytical mindset, strong collaboration across departments, and a proactive approach to staying current on industry trends and applying innovative tools and systems.
