About the Shop

Miller Motor Company is a busy independent repair shop in Centre Hall, PA, servicing Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles. You'll gain experience working on a wide variety of repairs instead of performing the same repetitive work every day.

Our shop features 7 bays, 4 lifts plus a 4-post alignment lift, Tekmetric shop management software, Steer CRM, Autel and Snap-on scan tools, and an onsite Carquest parts department that keeps workflow moving efficiently.

You'll work alongside an experienced team, including a Shop Manager who is also an A-Level Technician and is available to help when needed.

What You'll Do

• Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance
• Complete vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and repair drivability concerns
• Assist with light diagnostics and electrical repairs
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and engine repairs
• Work on Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles
• Use Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment
• Work with Tekmetric DVI
• Collaborate with the service advisor, parts department, and shop manager
• Focus on repairing vehicles while the dedicated parts team handles parts sourcing

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent professional automotive technician experience
• Solid general repair and maintenance experience
• Basic diagnostic and drivability troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Pennsylvania Inspection and Emissions Licenses
• Ability to work on Domestic, European, and Asian vehicles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Independent repair shop experience
• ASE Certifications
• Experience using Tekmetric or another DVI/shop management system (training available)
• Experience using Autel or Snap-on scan tools
