Remote Part Time General

Western Security is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to create professional video content that supports our security services, brand awareness, marketing campaigns, training materials, and digital communications. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, technical video editing abilities, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, polished content.

The Video Editor will work closely with management and marketing teams to produce videos for company promotions, social media platforms, client presentations, employee training, and security awareness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce high-quality video content for company websites, social media, advertisements, presentations, and training materials.
Review raw footage and organize clips into professional final video productions.
Add graphics, captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and other visual elements.
Perform video trimming, color correction, audio editing, and quality improvements.
Create short-form videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Develop security awareness videos, promotional content, and client-facing materials.
Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to develop video concepts and storytelling ideas.
Maintain organized video files, project folders, and media libraries.
Ensure all videos follow Western Security branding guidelines.
Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
Review final videos for accuracy, professionalism, and quality before publishing.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or certification in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field preferred.
Previous experience as a Video Editor or similar creative role.
Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
Knowledge of video formats, exporting, and digital publishing standards.
Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Portfolio of previous video editing work preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience creating corporate, security, training, or promotional videos.
Knowledge of social media video trends and audience engagement strategies.
Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or other design tools.
Basic understanding of filming, lighting, and audio recording.
Ability to create professional presentations and branded content.
