Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• LA State License
• Experience in orthopedics and geriatrics
• Less than 2 years of experience accepted. New graduates not accepted

Assignment Details

• 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00
• Expected patient volume is 8 to 12 visits per day
• Average daily census is roughly 25 patients per day, split between 2.5 therapists
• May be assigned to an emergency team and required to remain onsite until the event passes or serve as part of the relief team
• First-time travelers accepted

Morgan City offers access to Louisiana’s Gulf Coast culture and outdoor recreation. New Orleans is about 80 miles east for weekend trips, and the surrounding Atchafalaya Basin is one of the largest wetland and swamp systems in the United States.
